BOSTON - JULY 8,2008: Donna Summer's old home in Mission Hill. Summer, who was born in Boston, is returning to sing a benefit concert.

  Marina Pinsky, 21, a Mission Hill resident, was unaware that singer Donna Summer lived in the house seen behind her.

 Laura De León for opening up her home, and having such wonderful memorial for our friend, DONNA SUMMER. Everybody celebrated her life, with expressions of love, for such an amazing force of nature. We had the pleasure of meeting her young niece, LaDonna Gaines Lotman, who spoke about her life with her aunt, for whom she was named. Some people knew Donna personally, yet everyone felt her presence all around us. We honored DONNA SUMMER this day, gathered together as a Family, and I was proud to be a part of it!!
